Lundinova helps Svenska Höganäs with technology for electric bikes
Höganäs AB is at the forefront of advanced e-bike development. Brand new high-efficiency motors and ride controls are winning admiration at bike and design fairs. The bikes should work in all weather conditions. They should be light and safe to ride. The battery should last a long time. It should look good and be robust. The bikes incorporate new technology in motor control, battery monitoring, display technology and, of course, a Bluetooth connection to the mobile phone. Customers expect strong and consistent power, long mileage and an easy-to-read intuitive display.
TECHNOLOGY
Lundinova developed the electronics and software, with display, engine control and cruise control as the main areas. The industrial design was done by Zenit Design and the mechanical design by Jelmtech.
